You just cant beat a Wella Red! Vanessa was in salon for a much needed make over. Mikey started by prepping the hair with @wellapro_anz new Color Motion Pre-Color Treatment (which evens porosity and preps hair for a colour). Mikey then went in with Colour Touch 77/45 66/44 0/34 0/45 + 1.9% for 20 mins. After a new shape, Vanessa walked out looking this fabulous! Who wants a new hair colour?

Leah used to be a hilift tint for a very long time. We wanted to see some dimension but still stay as light as possible. Leah is also very light naturally so shadowing and low lighting the hair too much can lead to unwanted warmth. So we eased up on the colour and stretched out time between appointments to utilise her natural colour as our lowlight.. it’s looking pretty fabulous right?! Colour by Mikey

Let’s talk curls! Curls love hydration and lots of it. We love that clients are embracing their natural hair texture and its so important to know what works and what will keep your curls looking this fabulous. Here is a breakdown of what Nicole used.Step 1 @christopherobinparis hair oil with lavender under heat for 10
Step 2 Christophe Robin Hydrate shampoo
Step 3 Christophe Robin Hydrate melting mask with Aloe Vera
Step 4 Prepped before cutting with Christophe Robin Hydrating leave in mist with Aloe Vera
Step 5 to style Christophe Robin Luscious Curl Cream with Flaxseed Oil (one of our faves)Some tips from Nicole on how to work with curly hair- LOADS of moisture; masks, leave-ins etc
- Squeeze instead of shaking the hair when handling while wet
- Treat regularly with masks
- NEVER BRUSH 🙅🏼‍♀️ rake with fingers or a wide tooth comb instead
- Wrap hair with a towel or t shirt to condense the spiral and reduce frizz while drying.
- Regular trims!
- Remember... curls will be nice to you if you are nice to them 😉
